Here I am. I just came back from my trip at the top of the world... It was amazing! I just copied the following sentences from my little notebook. Follow me...

Monday 23rd.

With Amrit we finally took the train. Departure at 2pm from Delhi to 21 hours with soldiers as company!

Tuesday 24th.

Arrived at Siliguri (Bengalore). A taxi is waiting for us for 4h30 of montains roads to Gangtok. We saw a lot of monkey on the road and down, in the valley, the river. Teesta.

Wednesday 25th.

Woke up at 6am to go to pray in a buddhist monastry. Then breakfast and walk. Went to the Tibetology museum and walk in town.

Thursday 26th.

Lungtuk, village of Amrit's family. Wonderful landscape. Eden Garden/The Jungle's book.

27th (friday).

Morning, went to the cousins/neighbours.

Afternoon, shopping. The cinema is closed. We'll go to see 2012 tomorrow.

Evening at the hotel Rendez-Vous with a friend of Amrit, Saunam.

Saturday 28th.

Perferct blue sky. I finally can admire the Khangchendzonga (3rd highest summit of the world). With Amrit we go to differents spots to see it. Then, we went to the orchids museum and the temple close by the Palace. Long walk to go down town.

Afternoon, 2012. In the worst cinema of my life. Interesting experience.

Sunday 29th.

Afternoon, zoo. It's so sad!

Monday 30th.

I finally do my homework and send a serie of postcards, I hope they'll get their destination! With Amrit we are starving and we order too much for lunch, but everything is delicious!

Afternoon, we save a puppy.

Wednesday 2nd.

Went to the 'small' monastry of rumtek. We are lucky : the monks are rehearsing for the Cham-dances. They let us stay and offer us some tea (meaning melted salted butter). It's quite awful but I have to drink it, no choice. Then we went to the big monastry. The army is there and they don't let me in. I must have a terrorist face... ?

Nothing special on the next days. The weather was very foggy and it was hard for me to take pictures. I started to get bored and as or departure from Delhi, our departure from Gangtok has been rescheduled several times. We finally left yesterday morning. I took some meds for the road and we reached Siliguri just in time. Unfortunately, our train didn't. And we had to wait for more than an hour. The train journey has been quite awful, long and painful. I won't tell the gross details and we finally reached Delhi at noon today. Voilà!

PS/my films have not been developped yet, so maybe I'll change this article soon, I'll let you know...

Tuesday, I went to a photo lab absolutely fantastic, the owner is an extraordinary old man. After that, I went to a little korean restaurant. Little secret well kept close to Connaught Place. It was a pleasant time with Varun and... absolutely nobody else, it was 5p.m. ans we were the only clients in the restaurant. The food was good and the bill so ridiculous that it would have been the tips in Paris!

In 20 days, I move to India, I don't know for how long yet, it will depend of the 'pain' I'll have when I'll be there.
I don't realise I'm leaving, it's kind of unreal.
The fashion week starts next week, so I'm busy doing thousand of uninteresting things. I would be so much better in my small village in the South, than here, in Paris.
It's weird how's the thing can change in one year. One year, it's nothing, just 365 little days.
I like the picture I put above, I took in May. Of course I won't go to India by train (although it would be an extraordinary trip to go by that way), but it's how I feel currently. I'm nowhere.

Lightning bolt, it was not the only gig I saw during that week end but it was the most impressive and interesting for photographs. That crowd was incredible and I was happy to be above the stage to have a such a point of view. I really liked the difference between all the person in that crowd aswell.

During a long week end at the end of May, I had a couple of nice walk in the forest of Louveciennes. With my three cameras (digital, the chinese one and Penny), I tried to catch as good as I could the light in the trees.

It has been two months I mentionned my "new" cameras... Here they are :

A chinese rolleiflex copy, from the 70's. The photographs it takes are beautiful (but I am not very good with it yet...) I am still looking for a name for it, but I have a friend who speaks chinese so I am waiting for her to make me a proposition...

And this is Penny, because this is an olympus Pen-ee, Pen for pen because it was for writers and it takes half size pictures. I like the idea to take a photograph rather than some notes.

First film. A lot of picture is bad. Shit film = shit pictures. I look at them for a long time, wondering what I am going to do with them. Then, I realized that some of them are not that bad and they tell a story, and I love stories.

So, of course I hope to become better, and next time I'll pay the price to get good pictures. Waiting for that, if you have advices to give me, do it!

I won't go to England next year, the Saint Martins administration finally answered : no. Well.

As I am very optimistic and positive, even if I have to admit I am very disappointed. I realize it is a chance for wondering. It gaves me a chance to dream a bit. I am free and without goal. I just want to have time and to live. I want to do so many things that finally it is good I don't waste it at school. Although after long hours of reflexion, I decided to try again next year. But I am going to stop stoping to live.

Otherwise, now it is spring and I had to escape from the city to could breath and see my family. Talking about family, my cameras one became bigger last week, I will show you the new ones very soon.

Honnestly I iz sehr sorrrry my frrrriends, I am so busy these last time I do not any time to blog!

It is 2009, it takes me one month to realize it but now it is done!

And with this new year a lot of great changement(recession, Obama, etc. but everyone knows that), but for me, the big changement is that the last two years are now behind me and now I can MOVE ON.

Explanation : I work for two years to save money in order to pay me the school of my dreams. I have made a portfolio which one has been let in London the 29th January. And even if I won't have an answer before March, it is behind me.
